On Wednesday 19 May Rooms 11, 5 & 6 went to the Hamilton Zoo. What an amazing day!!! The weather was perfect - not too hot, so all the animals were out and about. We saw the TIGERS, chimpanzees, cheetah, zebra, white rhino, red panda, and lots of others too. My favourite was the baby white rhino...very cute!!! Week 4

Wow!! Another busy week has zoomed by...I can't believe I only have three more weeks with the terrific tigers.
Purple group have been working super hard again this week :-) We found some awesome sites on Google...we all loved watching Alvin the submarine cruising around the bottom of the ocean. Hi Tigers. What a busy start to Term 2!!
I have been very lucky to work with some very special groups as part of my University studies...

Purple group wrote some absolutely amazing character descriptions...we will be making these into a book for the whole class to share, so watch this space!!!

Red group is learning all about being a scientist...we know scientists ask lots of questions and so do we!!!


I hope you are all having a great afternoon, and being very kind to Miss Collins...she is so lucky to be in the best class in the world!!!!

I've just been to watch the filming of the TV programme "IT'S IN THE BAG" I went with Julie and her daughter and Riley's mum...it was heaps of fun and lots of laughs!!!! Keep a look out for us on Maori TV in August :-)

What do you think of my gorgeous doggies? The beautiful black Labrador on the left is Izzy, and she will be 1 year old on the 12 of July...the cute little white dog on the right is Missie, with her favourite teddy bear :-)
